Woodend Bowling Club was formed in 1946 and has always been sited at Kings Gate, Aberdeen.

We have about 150 members with significant men and women sections and new members are always welcomed. If you are interested please contact us using the Envelope icon at the top of the page.

In over 70 years of history the club has had several successes both at county and national level.

In addition to participating in county and national competitions the club also has its own internal competitions and for those who are interested more in the social aspect we have 'hat' events and friendly matches against other local clubs most weekends.

We hold coaching sessions for beginners and anyone interested in taking up bowls, on Sunday morning's between 10am and 11.30am. There is no need to book and it is open to both members and non-members.

The club is affiliated to the Scottish Bowling Association, the Bon Accord Bowling Association (men) and the Aberdeen District Ladies Bowling Association (ladies).

During the non-bowling season the club hosts weekly Bridge and Mahjong clubs which is open to new members if you are interested.
